Advancements in drone technology have revolutionised the surveying industry, making high-accuracy aerial imagery more accessible than ever before. From small 2D property orthomosaics to Digital Terrain Models of nature reserves, drones are the new standard when it comes to aerial mapping.
Our equipment can produce high-precision aerial surveys without the need for GCPs. We can provide geo-tagged images and maps in local GDA-20 coordinates with centimetre accuracy. Whilst we do not currently provide any LiDAR services, we hope to be able to offer this in the near future.
If you're a surveyor looking to achieve survey grade aerial data for your projects we'd love to hear from you!
Orthophotography is the process of taking several photos at an angle normal to the ground surface (looking directly down). Hundreds and thousands of photos can be taken and stitched together through a process of triangulation to create a high resolution, large area map of the photographed area. With real time or postprocessed satellite corrections, these maps can globally accurate be accurate down to only a few centimetres! Tie in the use of GCPs and local accuracy of less than 1cm can be achieved!
Topographic charts have been around for a long time and are a powerful graphical representation of the Earth's surface.
Digital Terrain Models and Digital Surface models take the imagery data a step further. a 3D reconstruction of the photographed area can be created for use in architectural, construction, development and environmental monitoring applications.
